The pneumatic needle embossing systems TMM4250/420 PINSTAMP are stationary multi-needle marking systems for permanent component marking for integration into the production line. The robust and compact systems are suitable for use in moist or dirty environments and in confined spaces. The needle embossers with either two or four embossing pins can mark components made of sheet metal, cast iron, machined metal or plastic in a marking area of 13 mm x 50 mm. In standard steel, an embossing depth of up to 0.33 mm is reached. A marking speed of up to 8 characters/s is possible. The system is also suitable for uneven and curved surfaces as well as for workpieces which can´t be precisely positioned. Serial numbers, time, date and shift codes are automatically created, labeling with 2D data matrix codes is possible. The systems are equipped with a compact controller TMC420 for operation and configuration, a PC is not required. Communication with a higher-level controller takes place via RS232 interface and via digital inputs and outputs.
