Customized assembly systems for rubber-metal bearings are used for the automatic assembly of conventional and hydraulic bearings. Typical work pieces are chassis bearings and engine bearings, including the attachments. The customer-specific systems for the assembly of conventional and hydraulic chassis and engine mountings of the AWM AG include application-specific process and test stations as well as all necessary feeding, concatenation and handling devices. A typical design consists of separate wet and dry areas, extensive process engineering, joining and forming station, hydraulic unit, glycol circulation with glycol treatment, access security, lifting doors and the control unit.
Depending on the customer requirements on cycle time, residual air percentage etc., the assembly is carried out with wet filling or dry filling. AWM has many years of experience in wet filling and installed a high number of assembly plants since 1995, following the wet filling principle. In addition to wet filling, AWM also uses dry filling in turn-key assembly systems for chassis bearings and motor bearings. The main application sector is the automotive supply industry.
