In assembling suspension components, the cycle times vary usually between 5 seconds and 10 seconds. Assembly systems for suspension components are realized partially or fully automatic. Often round tables are used as linking system. In the assembly machines, depending on the assembly product, process stations for joining by pressing, greasing, filling with hydraulic oil, ultrasonic welding and crimping can be found. In addition, component checks and torque testing for ease of motion are common testing processes. Operators can be found in the plants of the automotive supplier industry. Typical assembly products are handlebars, coupling rods, tie rods, roll stabilizers, ball joints and rubber-metal bearings such as sleeve joints and hydraulic bearings. The latter are used as engine mounts and chassis bearings.
