Kistler Straubenhardt GmbH (former Vester Elektronik GmbH) develops, produces and distributes solutions for monitoring stamping parts, strip stamping parts and small parts. The first business area is engaged with optoelectronic forked and frame light barriers for feeding and ejection control of applied securing of punching tools. Evaluation devices for punching process monitoring and belt lubrication systems of the Swiss partner Siegfried AG are distributed and integrated as well. A second, strongly growing business area, distributes test cells based on image processing technology for stamping parts testing and measuring and sorting machines for small parts measurement of rotary, stamped and stamped parts. Starting with frame light barriers for ejection control in stamping shops, the development into a specialist in punch tool monitoring was encouraged by the demand of the jewelery and watch industry traditionally based in the Pforzheim region. The resulting long-standing cooperation with the stamping tool making has built up a high degree of application know-how and understanding for the needs of this industry. Later on, the range of services was supplemented by small part wage measurement services. The founding of a joint sales company with Siegfried AG in France paved the way for internationalization.
