Mechanical force-displacement procession test modules are test rig and test system components for 100% mechanical inspection of mounted assemblies and products as well as functionality tests. For functional testing, the test item is subjected to mechanical input variables by the test module, and the resulting output variables are compared with a nominal value. In the functional test, therefore, not every single component is tested for function, but it is assumed that all individual functions are also correct if the overall result is correct. Typical tasks are the automated 100% control of screw threads and gears as well as friction torque measurements on adjusting elements and ball bearings.
