Solutions for measuring with image processing are customised image processing systems including engineering for automated geometry inspection and for dimensional 2D and 3D measuring. They are used to set up inspection applications for 100% control of dimensional, form and positional deviations on components and assemblies. The image processing solutions are realised for demanding applications with high part variance, high speed, difficult lighting conditions, unfavourable ambient conditions and complex inspection tasks. Depending on the application, the measuring solution can also be combined with other image processing tasks such as surface inspection and code reading.
A solution usually comprises several application-specific cameras with lenses and illumination as well as a powerful evaluation computer with the application-specific evaluation software. This includes the application technology with preliminary tests, the programming of the software as well as the user interface, the assembly and commissioning.
