Description:

Electric nutrunners 18/48 series with current control are cost-effective and easily configurable screw systems for manual monitored screw mounting. They have brushless electrically commutating EC motors and integrated resolvers for angular rotation measurement. The torque is monitored and regulated by means of a patented process via the current regulation. They are suitable for screw sizes of M5-M16 and offer torque ranges of 2-150 Nm as well as angle drive of 2-230 Nm with different gear reductions in three designs as pistol and bar-tools. The low weight and the handle dimensions enable ergonomic handling. The 18/48 systems are suitable for applications where individual tools are required for screwing and offer a cost-effective and powerful alternative to pneumatic systems. The tools meet the requirements for functional and safety-critical screw connections with documentation requirements. A typical area of application is the assembly of automotive components or the final vehicle assembly. The most important users are the automotive supply and automotive industry.
The modular design of the 14/48 series facilitates maintenance and repairs. In an integrated chip, the device values are stored and the cycles performed are counted in order to determine the maturity of preventive maintenance. Operation is via the single-channel TMEI-114 controller, which is connected via Ethernet to a laptop or PC with the standard software supplied. For integration into applications, digital inputs and outputs and an Ethernet interface as well as optional Devicenet or Profibus interfaces are available.
