Assembly systems for Chassis components
Fully-automatic assembly machines for car chassis components with ball joints are used, for example, for the assembly of transverse links and hinged tie rods, pin-ended support and outer joints with one or two ball joints. Typical components to be mounted are ball studs, sphrical shells and covers as well as rubber-metal bearings. When mounting conventional and hydraulic bearings, chassis bearings and motor bearings, including the attachments, are typical workpieces. Typical workpiece sizes vary between 500 g and 2 kg. Basically, a distinction must be made between wet filling and dry filling for hydraulic bearings. Typical integrated processes are greasing, pressing, ultrasonic welding, flanging, measuring, torque testing, leak testing. User industries are the automotive and automotive supply industries.
