| The Tensor ST screw system is an electrically driven mounting system for hand-held applications. Tensor ST screw spindles with a torque range of 1-4000 Nm and a speed range between 2925 and 25 rpm are available. A PowerFocus 4000 unit controls the inserted screw spindles. Processes of the screw process monitoring are torque control / rotation angle monitoring, rotation angle control / torque monitoring, torque and rotation angle control, stretch control, gradient strategy and screw synchronization. Tensors ST screw spindles are equipped with torque and angle sensors, recording the assembly data of up to 10,000 screw connections for screw process optimization. |
The Tensor ST is suitable for demanding and safety-critical applications with short cycle times and a large torque range. In the automotive industry, it can be used in assembly and final assembly, as well as in the automotive supply industry and in the production of construction and agricultural machinery. The functional range of the PowerFocus 4000 is determined by an optimally suited Rapid Backup Unit (RBU). The RBU transfers the functionality to the controller and serves as a backup for programming and configuration. This minimizes downtime. The screw parameters are set via the ToolsTalk PF software.
A multi-stage functionality couples up to eight parameter sets and processes them without interruption. SyncroTorque synchronizes up to six stationary screw spindles. The operator receives IO/NIO feedback via configurable signal lamps and loudspeakers. Tensor ST can be replaced without the need to restart the control unit thanks to the hot-swap function. The tools optionally have an integrated barcode scanner, configurable parameter selector switches, front switches and front lights. Torque selection switches, light columns, operator panel, plug-in selector and I / O extensions are also available as accessories.
